Jap Ethylene Output Grew Month on Month

CHEMMONITOR.COM – According to Japan Petrochemical Association, ethylene output demonstrated considerable increase in August. It grew by 39,600 tonnes or 5.6 percent if compared to July 2012. The rise is attributed to higher manufacturing rates during the month. The average plant capacity moved up by 4.72 percent in August.

However, the figure was lower than in August 2011. It dropped by almost 50,000 tonnes or 8.1 percent Y-o-Y.
