Japan Styrene Monomer (SM) Industry Registered Output Growth

CHEMMONITOR.COM – According to the manufacturing data, recently uncovered by Japan Petrochemical Association, domestic styrene monomer (SM) production demonstrated sustainable growth for the third consecutive month.

The country’s SM output went up by 13,100 tonnes or 6.9 percent month on month in June 2012. However, on yearly basis a drop was registered. Japan-based firms generated 10,700 tones or 5.3 percent less in comparison with June 2011.
