BASF’s New Facility to Be On-stream in China in 2019

CHEMMONITOR.COM – German chemical company and the largest global chemical producer, BASF, is expected to set up a new speciality amines facility at its wholly owned production site, situated in Nanjing Chemical Industry Park (China).

The annual production capacity of the future plant is predicted to reach 21,000 tonnes. The new facility is set to expand the BASF’s amines portfolio at the complex. The plant is scheduled to be on-stream in 2019.

The multi-product plant’s portfolio will primarily include 1,2-propylenediamine (1,2-PDA), n-octylamine (n-OA), and polyetheramine (PEA).
