Showa Denko K. K. (SDK) Ethyl Acetate Plant in Indonesia to Go off Stream

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Japanese chemical engineering company Showa Denko K. K. (SDK) is going to stop ethyl acetate production at its subsidiary Showa Esterindo Indonesia (SEI) by late 2014 due to tough business environment.

SEI is involved in the production and marketing of ethyl acetate in Southeast Asia. The manufacturing process implies ethylene esterification with acetic acid.
