Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) Facility in Jubail Likely be Back on Stream by September 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Saudi Arabia-based company Jubail United Petrochemical Co (JUPC) is expected to recommence operations at its No.1 monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant located in Jubail (Saudi Arabia). The MEG facility was idled due to a maintenance turnaround in July 2014. The plant will come on stream by late August 2014. The plant’s annual production capacity reaches 700,000 metric tons.
