China National Offshore Oil Corporation to Suspend Aromatics Facility in H2 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM – China National Offshore Oil Corporation or CNOOC Group is going to shut its aromatics plant for maintenance turnaround in H2 2014. The facility will be idled for over a month.

The aromatics plant is situated in Huizhou (China) and produces about 840,000 metric tons of paraxylene (PX) per year and about 130,000 metric tons of mixed xylene (MX) per year.
