Styrene Monomer (SM) Plant in Ube in Japan to Be Idled for Maintenance Turnaround

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Headquartered in Tokyo, Taiyo Oil Company, Ltd. is going to idle its styrene monomer (SM) plant due to maintenance turnaround till early October 2014. The company is set to shut the facility in the second half of August 2014. The plant with an annual production capacity of 370,000 metric tons is situated in Ube (Japan).

NS Styrene Monomer Co., Ltd. (Japan) recommenced operations at its No.2 SM plant in late July 2014.
