Formosa Plastics to Expand its Facility in Point Comfort

CHEMMONITOR.COM – The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted Formosa Plastics (the US) an approval concerning greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the enlargement of its petrochemical unit in Point Comfort (Texas).

The firm will set up two gas-fired turbines, a low-density polyethylene plant (LDPE), a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) facility and a third olefin unit.
