Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) to Stop Operations at Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Taiwan-based company Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) is set to idle its ethylene dichloride (EDC) facility in line with scheduled maintenance turnaround. The plant is slated to be shut in mid-August 2014 for about a month. The facility is situated in Mailiao (Taiwan) and produces about 1.1 million metric tons per annum.
