Sumitomo and Rostec Started Production at New Facility in Yekaterinburg

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Rostec (Russia) and Japanese company Sumitomo commissioned a new JV in Yekaterinburg (Russia). The plant will produce wiring harnesses and cables for automobile firms Renault, Nissan and Avtovaz. The new JV, called Ural Wiring Systems, has a staff of 290 employees, and 360 jobs will be provided by the end of the year.
