Aromatics Plant in Cilacap in Indonesia to Be Idled in Sep 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Jakarta-based oil and natural gas company Pertamina will idle its aromatics plant in line with scheduled maintenance turnaround. The company is going to shut the facility for approximately 40 days in late September 2014.

The aromatics plant, which is located in Cilacap (Indonesia), produces about 270,000 metric tons per year and 110,000 metric tons per annum of p-Xylene (PX) and benzene, respectively.
