No.2 Naphtha Cracker of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) Idled

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japanese company Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) idled its No.2 naphtha cracker for about a week due to an unplanned inspection. The plant was shut in mid-July 2014. Situated at the Kashima complex (Japan), the plant produces 539,000 tonnes of petroleum products per year. The No.2 naphtha cracker experienced some problems with cracked gas compression.
