Koppers Holdings to Set up new Plant in USA

CHEMMONITOR.COM - U.S.-based company Koppers Holdings plans to build a naphthalene plant in Stickney (Illinois, US). For the project, Koppers is going to apply for various environmental permits.

The construction of the plant is part of the company’s plan to combine its tar distillation operations in North America. Koppers Holdings will redeploy its naphthalene production from Follansbee (West Virginia) to the Stickney plant.
