CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based company NS Styrene Monomer Co., Ltd. plans to restart its two styrene monomer (SM) facilities in Oita after feedstock supply interruption. The disruption in supply to the SM facilities resulted from the shutdown of a Showa Denko’s naphtha-fed steam cracker located at the same site.

The steam cracker is already on stream and expected to operate in full.
