CHEMMONITOR.COM – Evonik (Germany) cooperated with Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development (China), owned by Chinese firm GCL-Poly Energy, to construct fumed silica and silicon tetrachloride facilities in Jiangsu province, China. Evonik will hold 60% in the JV.
