New PVDF Facility Went on Stream in Early July 2014 in China

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Tokyo-headquartered (Japan) specialty chemicals and plastics producer Kureha Corporation commenced operations at its first polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) facility located at the Changshu site (Jiangsu province, China). The inauguration ceremony was held in early July 2014.

Kureha Corporation’s PVDF plant was built to satisfy enhancing demand for PVDF. In the world market, the company supplies 70% of PVDF binders for the production of lithium-ion batteries.
