PPG Industries to Enlarge its Coatings Unit in Sumare

CHEMMONITOR.COM – US-headquartered PPG Industries plans to provide USD 40 million for the expansion of its coatings plant in Sumare (Brazil). Under the project, the firm will add a 65,000 square feet facility for the production of resins applied in electrocoat material manufacturing. The firm will be able to meet the rising demand from industrial coatings customers and automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
