Expanded Plants of BASF in Texas and Missouri to Go on Stream in 2016-2017

CHEMMONITOR.COM - BASF SE (Germany) expands herbicide production capacities in Beaumont (Texas) and Hannibal (Missouri). The company plans to invest about USD 270 million into the project. BASF is expected to develop production of dicamba and DMTA herbicides at the plant in Beaumont and to modernize the production facilities at the plant in Hannibal.

The expansion project will assist the company to meet the rising demand for its herbicides.
