Asahi Kasei to Set up New Compounding Facility in the US

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Asahi Kasei (Japan) projects to construct a compounding unit in Athens, Alabama (the US). The new 70 million pounds a year facility will produce compounds from nylon 6/6, polypropylene and other materials. The launch of the Alabama site is planned for 2016.
