CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Ltd. Idled Facility in May 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM - China-based company CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Ltd., (CSPC) suspended operations at a low density polyethylene (LDPE) facility. The LDPE plant was idled in May 2014 in line with technical issues. The date of the restart remains undisclosed. The facility is located at Huizhou site (Giangdong province, China) and has an annual production capacity of 250,000 metric tons.
