Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) to Commence OTC Facility

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Saudi Arabia-based company Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) is going to set up oil-to-chemicals (OTC) plant. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2020 in Saudi Arabia. The company will utilize about 10 million tons of crude oil per year as raw material for the facility. It equals to 200,000 barrels daily.

The start up of the OTC plant will provide the region with approximately 100,000 direct and indirect jobs for Saudis.
