BASF and Yara International ASA to Set up World-scale Facility in Cooperation

CHEMMONITOR.COM - German chemical company BASF SE and Norway-based company Yara International ASA are going to construct a world-scale ammonia facility in USA. The projected plant with an annual production capacity of about 750,000 metric tons is expected to be built at the site in Freeport (Texas). The plant is expected to be equipped with a hydrogen-synthesis process. The project is likely to be approved of the respective authorities of both companies.
