SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers to Expand Production at its Facility in Washington

CHEMMONITOR.COM - SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers (the US), a JV between Germany-based SGL and BMW, plans to escalate output at the carbon fiber complex in Moses Lake in Washington due to the growing material demand. The firms invested USD 200 million in the plant, which is set to be expanded till 2015.

Under the project, the Moses Lake factory will become the largest carbon fiber facility globally.
