Akzo Nobel N.V. Launched New Plant in Germany

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The Netherlands-based company Akzo Nobel N.V. launched a chlorine membrane electrolysis facility in Rhein-Main (Germany). In 2011, the capacity of the plant rose by 50%, while the plant’s total footprint fell by about 20%. The expansion project is assessed at around EUR 140 million.

The production at the new facility is scheduled to be commissioned in the nearest future.
