BASF SE to Put Up Petchem Plant on the US Gulf Coast

CHEMMONITOR.COM - German chemical company BASF SE is in plans to build a petrochemical plant in the USA. The facility, which is expected to be established on the US Gulf Coast, will manufacture propylene. The company is predicted to invest over EUR 1 billion in the projected petrochemical facility.

The propylene production will assist BASF in improving its cost position and backward integration in the country.
