CHEMMONITOR.COM - The JV of Japanese companies Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and the USA-based chemical corporation The Dow Chemical Co. ceased a long-term ethylene off-take agreement, as the Japanese companies decided to give up plans for a 330,000-tonnes per year proposed linear alpha olefins (LAO) plant (the US Gulf Coast).
