Tosoh Corporation Recommenced Cracker in Yokkaichi

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based chemical and specialty materials company Tosoh Corporation recommenced operations at the naphtha cracker located at Yokkaichi site following the planned maintenance. The startup was postponed for a week. The reasons for the suspended startup were unclear. The cracker was idled in mid-March. The naphtha cracker has an annual production capacity of around 527,000 tonnes of ethylene.
