Orpic Received Investments for Sohar Refinery Project Implementation

CHEMMONITOR.COM– Oman-based Orpic received USD 2.8 billion financing for the realization of its Sohar Refinery Improvement Project (SRIP). The firm signed loan deals with 21 financial institutions in Muscat in Oman.

The Soha Refinery project involves its residue fluidized catalytic cracker (RFCC) improvement to serve polymer grade propylene demand, as well as raise diesel and gasoline production.
