ExxonMobil Launched Its LNG Project in Papua New Guinea

CHEMMONITOR.COM – ExxonMobil (the US) has launched its USD 19 billion project in Papua New Guinea for liquefied natural gas (LNG) manufacturing. It also plans to produce piped natural gas (PNG). The first LNG cargo will be soon delivered to Asia. The work on the second train is in progress now. ExxonMobil PNG, which is an ExxonMobil’s subsidiary, plans to manufacture around 9 trillion cubic feet of gas in 30 years.
