Invista and Solvay Renewed JV For ADN Production

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Solvay (Belgium) and Invista (the US) renewed the JV contract for manufacturing adiponitrile (ADN), which is applied for making Polyamide 6.6. The deal clarifies the rules of operation of Butachimie JV, in which both firms own 50% of shares. Butachimie is the largest global producer of ADN, utilized in nylon 6.6 intermediates production. The unit is situated in Chalampe, France.
