BASF Cooperated With Toda Kogyo For Cathode Active Materials JV

CHEMMONITOR.COM – BASF (Germany) and Toda Kogyo (Japan) project to establish a JV to produce cathode active materials (CAMs) in Japan. The new JV will merchandize CAMs, involving lithium manganese oxide (LMO), nickel cobalt manganese (NCM) and nickel cobalt aluminum oxide (NCA). The CAMs are consumed in the electronics, stationary storage and automotive markets.
