BP to Shut Down Its Refining Facility in Brisbane

CHEMMONITOR.COM – BP (the UK) plans to stop operations at its Australian refinery by mid-2015. The facility currently processes 102,000 barrels of fuel a day. The development of large refineries in APAC led to structural changes in the fuels delivery chain in Australia. This negatively influenced smaller scale plants, including BP refinery.
