ExxonMobil Chemical Started New Plant at Baytown Site in the USA

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The oil and gas company based in the USA, ExxonMobil Chemical, launched a synthetic base stocks plant in the USA.

The new plant, which is expected to produce about 50,000 tons SpectraSyn Elite metallocene polyalphaolefin (mPAO) synthetic lubricant base stocks per year, is situated at the integrated refining and chemical complex at Baytown site (Texas).

These synthetic base stocks are developed by a modern metallocene catalyst process.
