Cpchem Plans to Enlarge Manufacturing Unit in Tessenderlo

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The US-based Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) is going to enlarge its plant in Tessenderlo, Belgium. The expansion will include hydrogen sulfide (H2S) facility and additional sulfur-based materials capacity to help customers to satisfy the increased plastics and synthetic rubbers demand. The output at the plant will be raised by 40%. The upgrade of the unit will be finished in Q2 of 2014.
