Operations at LG Chem SM Facility Suspended for Two Weeks

CHEMMONITOR.COM - South Korea-based chemical company LG Chem stopped operations at a styrene monomer (SM) facility in March 2014 at Daesan site (South Korea). The plant, which is expected to be off line for about two weeks, was shut in line with maintenance turnaround. The plant’s annual production capacity is assessed at around 180,000 metric tons.
