Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. to Halt Production at Aromatics Facility in Chiba

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. is going to suspend operations at the aromatics facility for maintenance turnaround.   The plant, which is located in Chiba (Japan), is forecast to be shut in the summer of 2014 for almost two months. The plant produces about 265,000 metric tons, 577,000 metric tons and 353,000 metric tons of p-Xylene (PX), benzene and MX per year, respectively.
