Exxonmobil Chemical to Enlarge its Singapore Petrochemical Unit

CHEMMONITOR.COM – ExxonMobil Chemical (the US) plans to construct halobutyl rubber and Escorez hydrocarbon resin plants at its complex in Singapore by 2017. The construction will begin in H2 of 2014.

ExxonMobil Chemical will add annual capacity of 140,000 tonnes. The hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin plant, which will manufacture 90,000 tonnes annually, will help to satisfy hot-melt adhesives demand.
