Bayer MaterialScience AG Acquired Aniline Plant at Baytown site in USA

CHEMMONITOR.COM - American chemical company DuPont sold an aniline plant to the Germany-based company Bayer MaterialScience AG. The manufacturing facility is located at Baytown site (Texas, US). This site is known as the Bayer’s major production site in the USA. The companies keep financial details of the deal secret.

Aniline finds its application in the production of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), which is widely employed in the construction industry.
