Pacific Ethanol to Restart Operations at its Facility in Madera in 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Pacific Ethanol (the US) is going to reopen its Madera facility in Q2 2014. The output of the unit amounts to 40 million gallons per year. The expected capacity of the plant, located in Caifornia, will total 200 million gallons of ethanol per year.

Pacific Ethanol started operating in 2006. However, in 2009 the firm stopped ethanol production due to the collapse in the ethanol market.
