New Oil Refinery is Under Construction in Iraq

CHEMMONITOR.COM - The Iraq government and Hyundai Engineering & Construction (South Korea) signed an agreement to set up the new oil refinery in Karbala, Iraq. The construction is likely to cost USD 6.04 billion. The output of the refinery will total 140,000 barrels per day.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction, which will manage the construction process, plans to finish the project within 54 months.
