Showa Denko K.K. and Dooam Industrial to Build Purification Plant in 2014

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based chemical engineering company Showa Denko K.K. entered into a work commissioning agreement with Dooam Industrial to raise its production capacity of high-purity nitrous oxide (N2O) in South Korea. Moreover, the companies are going to put up a purification plant near the facility, which belongs to Dooam.

The future purification plant is forecast to produce about 600 tonnes of N2O per year. The plant is scheduled to be operational by late 2014. Meanwhile, commercial shipments are to be launched in 2015.
