Eastman to Reconstruct Its Kingsport and Longview Carboxylic Acids Facilities

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Eastman Chemical (the US) plans to boost carboxylic acids capacity at its facilities in Kingsport and Longview, the US. The additional capacity of about 50 million pounds will be completed in Q4 of 2014. Eastman’s olefin crackers in Texas allow the firm to be a competitive global producer of carboxylic acids.
