Shale Gas Exploration to Begin in Poland

CHEMMONITOR.COM – Baker Hughes (the US) joined hands with San Leon Energy (Ireland) for gas production in Poland. The companies are going to start fracturing Krzesinski-1 well and Trzek-1, Trzek-2ZH, Trzek3H wells in the Siekierki gas field, which is estimated to reserve 422 billion cubic feet of gas.

Gas extraction operations are to begin within the period of six or eight months. Fracturing from the first four wells will show the potential, existing in the Siekierki fields.
