Mitsui Chemicals to Rise Its XDI Production Capacity in 2015

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Japan-based chemical company Mitsui Chemicals is scheduled to put up its new state-of-the-art facility for xylylene diisocyanate (XDI) in mid autumn of 2015. The projected plant with annual capacity of 5,000 tonnes will be located at Omuta Works complex in Omuta City (Japan).

The XDI plant is predicted to help the company in satisfying demand for rising specialty coatings and engineering materials. The start up of the facility is an opportunity to further expand Mitsui Chemicals business.
