Nova Chemicals Ethylene Cracker Capacity Likely to be Escalated

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Nova Chemicals (the US) plans to boost ethylene production capacity at its cracker in Corunna (Canada) by around 21% within the period of 2014-2018. Before that, the firm is renovating its Corunna cracker to utilize NGL raw material during Q1 of 2014. The current production capacity totals 1,85 billion pounds of ethylene annually.

In addition, the firm is to modernize its high density polyethylene (HDPE) line and reconstruct its low density polyethylene (LLDPE) line in Mooretown, Canada.
