Glycols Biorefinery to Be Built by M&G Chemicals and Guozhen in China

CHEMMONITOR.COM - M&G Chemicals (Luxemborg) and Guozhen (China) established a JV to build a glycols biorefinery in Fuyang, China. The facility will transform 1 million tonnes of biomass to make bio-glycols and bio-ethanol. It will use ProesaTM technology developed by Beta Renewables (Italy), a JV between Novozymes (Denmark), TPG Capital (US) and Biochemtex (Italy).
Guozhen will provide the biorefinery with 1 million tonnes of straw biomass.
