Deal between Shell and Iraqi Government Likely to Be Closed Soon

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Anglo-Dutch oil and gas company Shell is apt to construct a petchem facility in southern Iraq. The project is assessed at about USD 11 billion.

 

Shell and the government of Iraq have almost closed the deal. The head of the agreement will be ready for inking in a couple of weeks. After the signing, both parties will be able to commit to early planning for the project.
