Shchekinoazot and Haldor Topsoe to Start Joint Methanol and Ammonia Production in 2017

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Russia-based chemical raw materials and products company Shchekinoazot and a catalysts producer headquartered in Denmark, Haldor Topsoe, inked an agreement to produce methanol and ammonia in cooperation. The total investment into the project is predicted to reach about EUR 270 million.

The basic design of the plant is to be finished by summer of 2014. The production is predicted to be launched in 2017.
