New Malabar Coal Mine to Be Operational in Early 2018

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Australian company with headquarters in Sydney, Malabar Coal, is going to start mining operations at it Spur Hill Underground located in New South Wales (the east of Australia) at the beginning of 2018.

Spur Hill will produce low ash soft coking coal, semi-soft coking coal and export thermal coal for the period of twenty years. The mine production is expected to be estimated at between 6 and 8 million metric tons of run-of-mine coal per year.
