Alkoxylation Plant to Be Finished in 2015 in Pasadena

CHEMMONITOR.COM - Belgium-based chemical company Solvay is planning to put up and run an alkoxylation plant at Pasadena site in Texas, in the USA. Ethylene, propylene and polyethylene producer in North America, Equistar Chemicals, is expected to provide the new alkoxylation unit with ethylene oxide raw material. The project is estimated at about EUR 40 million. It is scheduled for completion for 2015.

The future plant will allow Solvay to help its customers to meet their business opportunities in many markets.
